Maura McNally

Biography

Maura McNally is a Senior Counsel and was called to the Inner Bar in 2017, prior to which she practiced on Circuit for 25 years. Following studies at Warwick University (LL.M.), and UCG (B.A. and LL.B), she completed her Bachelors of Law (B.L.) at The King’s Inns. She was called to the Bar of Northern Ireland in 2019. Maura was elected as Chair of the Council of The Bar of Ireland in 2020, becoming the second-ever woman elected to the position, following Ms Justice Mella Carroll who held the role more than four decades ago. Maura practices Civil Law, mainly in personal injury, chancery and non-jury.
